OUR STORY
After decades of making delicious pizza from scratch, hosting community fundraisers that immediately sold out,
The Pizza Box was born!
We found an old horse "box" in Coxsackie, NY.
With a solid frame, not-so-solid walls, we jumped in to restore.
Melanie learned how to weld, paint, and repair the box.
Michael fine-tuned his recipes &
young Max mastered the wood-fired oven.
We offer wood-fired dough, made from scratch w a 72 fermentation. The best organic tomatoes, premium cup n char pepperoni & farm 2 table seasonal pies, highlighting the best of the Catskills.
2021 was a year of pop-ups, to introduce our pizza to the community.
2022 brought private catering & select community events.
2023 was full of after-parties, weddings, reunions & more!
